When I think of classic Maryland aesthetics, this sweet engagement session immediately comes to mind. Located in St. Michaels, The Inn at Perry Cabin is a venue that any wedding vendor immediately falls in love with. It’s a tucked away oasis, sitting right on the Chesapeake Bay. Complete with beautiful docked woodwind sailboats, lush hydrangea bushes, and a sprawling waterfront view.

Now, something I tell all my couples, is that you should get as creative as you’d like when it comes to your engagement session location! In this case, Bethany & Johnny decided a weekend getaway for Bethany’s birthday was the perfect opportunity to sneak in a special shoot where they wouldn’t have otherwise. Even their pup Paisley agreed it was a great decision – because she got to come along and be pampered, too!

In the hot summer heat, the cool water provided a nice reprieve to dip their toes in – and so they got to sit, sip, and enjoy their session around the beautiful grounds right up until mother nature gave us a summer shower.
