Inspired by the couple’s love of travel and lush landscapes, this wedding felt like stepping into an English garden. The design was layered with soft blues, leafy greens, and the warmth of natural wooden textures, with subtle nods to the theme throughout the day. From the bride’s floral appliqué Marchesa gown to the playful wicker baskets of blooms carried by the wedding party in place of traditional bouquets, the springy atmosphere was a cohesive thread at every turn.
Guests dined and connected in the fresh air beneath the sailcloth tent in the hours that followed. Later, the bride changed into a feathered minidress and took to the stage to join her cousin — the lead of their wedding band. Eventually, the whole family came together for a full-on Journey tribute to close the evening.
The ceremony, backdropped by a charming gazebo framed by florals, felt both intentionally designed and naturally beautiful, much like the formal English gardens found at historic estates.
Cocktail hour featured a raw bar, and music played a key role throughout the reception with tables named after concerts the couple attended together. There was even a family performance (more on this later).
